Helicopters, Inc. provided helicopter flight instruction and transition training to fixed-wing pilots with no rotary-wing experience, ex-military pilots, and the occasional pilot-to-be. The Enstrom helicopter is a responsive and safe machine for student training.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A LICENSE?
For a private pilot license, 40 hours minimum dual/solo. The national average for obtaining a private helicopter license is 65 hours for training to proficiency. A commercial license requires a minimum of 150 hours.

WHAT ARE THE MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING A PILOT?
Private 3rd class. Commercial 2nd class.

WHAT TYPES OF CAREERS ARE THERE FOR PILOTS?
The helicopter industry is expanding with new opportunities. My students have gone on to careers with a wide variety of different helicopter companies from air tours to emergency medical services and helicopter fire fighting.
