Since 1992, Helicopters, Inc. has provided the Memphis and the Mid-South region with full-service helicopter support and services. In 1997 Wayne Breeden acquired the company and over the past two decades has expanded its services into seven states.  I flew the last commercial flight as Helicopters, Inc. on December 31st, 2019.

WAYNE BREEDEN

I first soloed at sixteen and have since logged over 25,000 hours in a variety of aircraft with more than 17,000 hours in Enstrom helicopters.  Before acquiring Helicopters, Inc. in 1997, I worked for over twenty years selling aircraft parts for the Don Horn Company and most recently Aviall. I have served on the executive committee of the Tennessee Aviation Association, Tennessee Aviation maintenance Conference, and was a founding board member of the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame. I hold a Multi-Engine Airline Transport certificate with a Lear Jet Type Rating, and am a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) in both land and seaplanes as well as helicopters.

On November 2, 2019, the FAA awarded me the "Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award" for more than fifty years of flight safety without a violation or an accident.
